Step-By-Step. Anyway, without further ado, here are the steps for getting directions from Google Maps onto Garmin Connect and then onto your bike computer: Plot your course on Google Maps. Copy and paste the full URL into MapsToGPX then click LETâS GO. Go to GPSies, select the file, leave all other options and click convert.
REVER letâs you upload GPX files and you can put in custom routes yourself. Itâs not a perfect app but itâs the best Iâve used yet. Also letâs you share rides with friends so you can run your planned ride by them and/or they can also run it on their phone while youâre out
You can upload .fit and .GPX files to the Race power calculator for the most accurate race time prediction from Stryd. GPX files must include timestamps so cannot be pulled directly from online mapping tools like Google Maps or MapMyRun, but some GPX files can be uploaded to Garmin Connect which will add a timestamp.
Like most other maps, they are based on OSM data. When you download a certain country or region, the zip file will contain a map.img file and a contour.img file. Just copy both to your device and they will show up as two different maps you can enable or disable. Both enabled gives you the topo map with contour lines as an overlay.
The first way is on the unit itself. To do this you will need to copy the GPX file/s to an SD Card and then insert the SD Card into the HX-2. Step 3: When the Import GPX page loads click on Select file [3].

When the transfer is complete, find the route by scrolling to your ELEMNT /BOLT 's Map page, then press ROUTE. Your route library will appear as shown below.
The route data recorded via GPS using Endomondo and Strava I have exported to a .gpx file. I need this data in the .gpx file to display on my own personal website. If that's the case, you can use online converter to kml and then display kml on to Google Map or you can use this tool. If you would like to use python you can use GDAL/OGR lib to convert almost any format to desired one, in your case probably kml.
